Description: In our morning session, we'll focus on the music of Giovanni Cavaccio da Bergamo (1556-1626). On the 400th anniversary of his death, we'll explore some of his four-part works, including contrapuntal fantasias, texted madrigals, and dances. After lunch, we'll separate into smaller consorts and work on classic 4- and 5-part repertoire.
